Equine Liability Law

Ohio has specific legislation related to equine activities. The Ohio 4-H Youth Development equine program has distributed a liability shield for use by youth and parents/guardians and will be further developing a sportsmanship, ethics and safety program for the coming year. Food Safety

Ohio State University Extension and The Department of Human Nutrition has developed fact sheets and provided other resources to address general nutrition, including issues related to food safety.
