E-mail a Loaf of Bread

Here's your chance to e-mail a friend a loaf of our famous Carver's Colonial Bread. It's named after the well known American Scientist, George Washington Carver who is credited with improving the nutritional content of bread with his discovery of soy flour, soy oil and soy milk. The original 1925 recipe was designed for commercial production. Loaves were baked and sold to Ford Motor Company employees.

Recently, a rather cryptic version of this recipe was discovered for bread machines. It was eventually translated into the version you see below. Your job is to transform our recipe from units of weight to units of measure. Once you've made your guess, send your amounts to our bread machine for baking. It will tell you which amounts are correct and which ones need changing. Once perfected, our bread machine will guide you through the process of e-mailing your steaming loaf, along with a recipe card, to a friend.

Note: The person you email your bread to will need to have an email program that can read an html formatted message.
