Academy for Teaching Excellence
The Academy for Teaching Excellence was established
in the College in 1997. Membership includes those FAES faculty
members who have received the OSU Alumni Distinguished Teaching
Award or the Gamma Sigma Delta Teaching Award of Merit.
This academy of scholars is charged to guide the college in
developing programs which celebrate and nurture an environment
for teaching excellence within the College of Food, Agricultural,
and Environmental Sciences. It is the group that faculty can
count on to assure that high quality teaching is expected,
that it is developed, cultivated and nurtured, and that it
is rewarded, celebrated, and valued.
