What Valerie Has to Say

Size of OSU:  "Ohio State is a huge place.  It is your choice to make it as big or small as you like."

Quality of Academics:  "Not only are the professors at OSU your teachers, they are advisors, mentors, and friends.  There are quality teachers doing great things in research."

Advice for freshmen: "Go to class and put forth effort.  Introduce yourself to teachers and others.  You will only be a number if you want to."

Why OSU?  "Ohio State is a great place.  It offers the large, diverse student population and activities and classed for everything and everyone.  Yet at teh same time, it is like a small community."

Getting involved:  "The quicker you get involved, the more friends you make and the less alienated you will feel."
