Valerie Kessler
is an Agricultural Education major from Republic, OH.
Valerie started her OSU career at the Agricultural Technical
Institute in Wooster, OH. Valerie has filled much of
her time on campus as a member of Saddle and Sirloin, Ag Ed
Society, ATI Hoof and Hide, ATI Ag Ed Society, and as a course
tutor.

Size
of OSU: "Ohio State is a huge place.
It is your choice to make it as big or small as you like."
Quality
of Academics: "Not only are the professors
at OSU your teachers, they are advisors, mentors, and friends.
There are quality teachers doing great things in research."
Advice
for freshmen: "Go to class and put forth effort.
Introduce yourself to teachers and others. You will
only be a number if you want to."
Why
OSU? "Ohio State is a great place.
It offers the large, diverse student population and activities
and classed for everything and everyone. Yet at teh
same time, it is like a small community."
Getting
involved: "The quicker you get involved,
the more friends you make and the less alienated you will
feel."
