We are on rolling admissions. This means that your application will go into the review process as soon as it comes into the Admissions Office. You should know about the decision on your application within ten weeks of the admissions office receiving it. If you have questions about your application, you may call the Coordinator of Admissions for College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences at (614) 688-4144 or the Admissions Office at (614) 292-3980.

Admission Criteria- If you were admissible to OSU as a high school student, you may apply to transfer into OSU, Columbus, at anytime.  The minimum GPA is a 2.0/4.0, but transfer admission is selective and a 2.0 may not warrant admission.  If you were not admissible to OSU out of high school, you will be required to complete at least 45 quarter hours or 30 semester hours of non-remedial coursework at another university before applying to transfer.

When planning to apply to The Ohio State University, please keep in mind that you need to allow time for your transcripts from each university you have attended to reach The Ohio State University. You will also need to have a copy of your high school transcript sent to OSU regardless of how long ago you graduated.

Students are admitted to The Ohio State University without regard to their major. It is just as hard for CFAES students to be admitted as it is for engineering students.
