Welcome to information about the global dimension of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. The International Programs web link provides you with a window to international program activities in which the college is involved and to opportunities for you to become more involved, both in Ohio and overseas.

Communication technology and modern transportation and transport systems have made Ohio agriculture and much of today’s rural life global. Today our agricultural producers and other agribusinesses must cooperate and/or compete with counterparts around the world. Faculty and students in our College must be aware of and prepared to address the global impacts of major environmental issues and events.

The Office of International Programs in Agriculture provides students, faculty and stakeholders with opportunities to learn about the world and the many opportunities and challenges which face us in this context. Our goal to provide relevant information and opportunities for learning abroad, for transnational research and outreach, and for meaningful interaction with people of other nations….all within the context of learning about the world in which we live.

In accomplishing our mission we work closely with other units in the College as well as with appropriate campus wide Offices, including the Office of International Studies, the Office of International Education, and relevant college-based programs, such as the Center for International Business Education and Research in the Fisher College of Business.

We invite you to join us by reviewing opportunities that will help you explore the global dimensions of our world of work and non-work.
