Study Abroad in the Czech Republic

Location

The city of Prague is one of the most spectacular of all European capitals. It is situated on the Vltava River and ringed by seven hills. Spared by the bombs of World War II, Prague boasts many Gothic and Baroque architectural treasures. It is surrounded by no fewer than 14 castles. Direct rail and bus service link the city to Vienna, Berlin, Munich and Warsaw.

University

The Ohio State program is located at Czech Agricultural University, approximately 30 minutes outside of Prague. Czech Agricultural University offers a full curriculum in Agronomy, Horticulture, Natural Resources, and Animal Science to students from Eastern Europe and other parts of the world. A bus/metro pass connects students to downtown Prague on a daily basis.

Students will earn 15 hours of graded Ohio State credit. All courses are taught in English by faculty at the Czech Agricultural University. No previous knowledge of the Czech language is required.
