Community Development Teams

Community Awareness Team

Two programs are currently being tested by this newly established team. 1st Impressions Program is an exchange community visitation program, developed by Wisconsin Extension, intended to help a community discover the image their community is creating with those visiting the community. The second program is entitled Community Design Team. This effort is an opportunity for a community to gain critical expert assessment and follow-up suggestions regarding design issues in the community. Both programs fit well with the existing Extension program Empowering Local Communities for Economic Development.
