Title of Program or Issue: Introduction to Planning Relates to Community Development Process A. Situational Statement: Communities and organizations are encouraged to do a better job with planning in order to achieve more people involvement, implementation of action strategies, and desired outcomes. With the myriad of different types of planning processes and planners, how do you go about selecting the best option for your community or organization? B. Description/Educational Objectives: This program addresses the following:
C. Suggested Time Required for Program: Two hours Suggested Time of Year: Any time D. Audience and Level of Offering: For all audiences, county, district, statewide; especially useful for a leadership committee of a community or organization that is contemplating the planning process. E. Teaching Methods, Resources, Costs: Group presentation using visual aids, group participation, assessment tools like worksheets and checklists. Costs include travel and workshop expenses. F.
