Spring Edition
             April 2005

Note from the President

By: Jerod Young

I strongly believe that the Junior Leadership Committee of Fairfield County will accomplish a great deal this year. One goal our club is focused on is the creation of a Junior Leaders website. Last year, discussion on a website for the Junior Leaders took place. Even though there wasn't a whole lot of construction on the website, the idea received a lot of support. This year we are hoping to have a fully operational website specifically for the Junior Leadership Committee. If plenty of time and effort is applied, this website will be up and running soon. The Junior Leaders have also been planning numerous ideas for community service and fund raising activities. It is imperative that we contribute plenty of time to our wonderful community. Our club must also take part in activities that will raise money to help support a cause, or for any recreational activities we have in mind throughout the year. I'm hoping this year will be a very productive and enjoyable year for all the Junior Leaders. I would like to tell those of you who are in Junior Leaders that you have done an excellent job so far. Your hard work is greatly appreciated. I ask that all Junior Leaders set out to find more members for our 4-H community. If someone you know is interested in joining 4-H, have them sign up as soon as possible, so that they can enjoy all the exciting opportunities that 4-H has to offer. I'm confident that the Junior Leadership Committee of Fairfield County will have another very successful year. Once again I ask all you Junior Leaders to keep up the good work. Let's make this year in 4-H one we'll never forget!
