Rockets Away
Rockets Workshop Design Software

Designed for use with the 4-H "Rockets Away" curriculum, this IBM compatible software consists of two parts, a Design Zone and a Launch Zone.

The Design Zone will help you solve problems like determining the proper shape of a nose cone and tail fin, testing proper ratio between fuel and water pressure, and determining the ideal weight for a 2-liter bottle rocket. And, once your rocket is designed, a print-out can be made incorporating the design variables you've selected. Use this design to construct your own 2-liter bottle rocket or to show others what you've accomplished.

The Launch Zone will allow you to record and analyze actual launch data. As your data is entered, such as the amount of water and air pressure used, along with the time it took from liftoff to landing, the program will automatically calculate the speed and altitude of your rocket. The program will also allow you to compare your results to the predicted "ideal" for your rocket's design.

This Windows based version is available for $23.25 + S&H (USD). Sorry no Mac version.
