All About Agriculture in Tuscarawas County

With more than 149,000 acres in farms and over 55 million dollars in cash receipts, agriculture is an important industry in Tuscarawas County. 

The county has a diverse agriculture industry with dairy production as the leading commodity. Tuscarawas County ranks 5th in Ohio in dairy and 4th in cattle and calves. At more than 32,000 harvested acres, hay is an important commodity in livestock production and puts Tuscarawas County in 5th place in Ohio hay production.
