Name That Tree Workshop
Scheduled
Property
owners interested in learning
how to identify trees are encouraged to attend the Name
That Tree Workshop scheduled for Friday, August 18 at the
Brandywine Center on Old State Route 39 west of Dover. The workshop
begins at 9
a.m.
This
one-day workshop is designed to
give participants in-depth training and practice on identifying trees.
The
class begins indoors and is followed by outside training in the
afternoon.
Topics include the process of tree identification, practice time with
samples,
and a field trip to the Norma Johnson Conservation Center to practice
tree
identification.
A
registration fee of $30 per person
includes morning refreshments, lunch, and a tree identification book.

at
