Name That Tree Workshop Scheduled

         Property owners interested in learning how to identify trees are encouraged to attend the Name That Tree Workshop scheduled for Friday, August 18 at the Brandywine Center on Old State Route 39 west of Dover. The workshop begins at 9 a.m.

         This one-day workshop is designed to give participants in-depth training and practice on identifying trees. The class begins indoors and is followed by outside training in the afternoon. Topics include the process of tree identification, practice time with samples, and a field trip to the Norma Johnson Conservation Center to practice tree identification.

         A registration fee of $30 per person includes morning refreshments, lunch, and a tree identification book. Please contact the Tuscarawas County office of Ohio State University Extension at 330-339-2337 no later than August 11 to register.
