Incentive Programs

Recommended! Conservation Reserve Program, by the U. S. Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency.  The Conservation Reserve Program is intended to protect the countryÁs most fragile farmland by assisting owners and operators in conserving and improving soil, water, and wildlife resources.  Get all the latest news and information about the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) and Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP).

Environmental Quality Incentives Program factsheet, by the Natural Resources Conservation Service.  EQUIP was established to provide financial, educational, and technical help to farmers and ranchers to install or implement structural, vegetative, and management practices to reduce serious threats to soil, water, and related natural resources.  Describes the program, how it works, priority areas, conservation plans, payments, eligibility, and where to go for more information.

USDA Conservation Programs, by the U. S. Department of Agriculture and Natural Resource Conservation Service.  Get basic information about incentive programs to encourage conservation of fragile and critical lands.  Program descriptions are provided for Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP), Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program (WHIP), Forestry Incentives Program (FIP), Conservation Reserve Program (CRP), and Rural Abandoned Mine Program (RAMP).
