Job Description
I. Qualifications
  1. Must be  at least 18 years old.
  2. Must be in good physical condition.
  3. Must attend training including safety, facility inspection facilitating skills and processing techniques.
  4. Possess good verbal/non-verbal communication skills.
  5. Should be experienced in teaching and working with young people for extended periods of time.
II. Responsibilities
  1. Directly responsible to Program Director/ Coordinator.
  2. Must meet with the Program Director/ Coordinator prior to camp session to go over specifics.
  3. Take initiative, share creative ideas with Program Director/ Coordinator.
  4. Responsible for supervising and utilizing counselors during program.  Including proper spotting technique
  5. Maintain equipment and supplies in proper working order, in an orderly, and neat manner.


III. All Staff and Directors

  1. Set an example by conducting themselves in a proper manner.
  2. Observe a habit of cleanliness of self and area.
  3. There shall be no alcoholic beverages on Camp Whitewood grounds at any time.
  4. Staff certified in CPR may have to administer resuscitation by means of a mechanical way.
