4-H Camp Whitewood's Young Adventurer's Day Camp is for all girls and boys 6-12 years old.  Day Camp groups are co-ed and assigned by similar age ranges.  Special themes are featured each week.

When Summer

Camp Whitewood is offering eight, one-week (Monday-Friday) sessions beginning June 11 and ending August 3.  The camp programs are conducted between the hours of 8:00 AM. - 3:00 PM.  A separate supervised, unstructured period from 3:00 - 5:00 PM is also available for a small fee.



Where woods

4-H Camp Whitewood is located in Windsor, off U.S. route 322 between Huntsburg and Orwell, Ohio on Wiswell Road.  Complete directions will be included in your information package.  Transportation to and from camp is the responsibility of the parents or guardian.


Optional Overnight campfire

On July 12 and July 26, 2007 an optional overnight camp will be offered.  Children registered for the entire week are eligible for the overnight by paying an additional $25.  Programs may include campfire and evening theme programs, and an overnight experience in tents, cabins or day camp center, dinner, a nighttime snack, and breakfast will be provided.


Day Camp Cost

The cost of day camp is $75 per week, sibling cost is $70 per week.  A separate, supervised, unstructured program will be offered from 3:00-5:00 PM for an additional fee of $5 per child, per day.

Day Campers bring their own lunch with the camp providing a snack of crackers and juice.
