Scheduling
All program
are custom scheduled to meet your individual needs. Whether you select
one program choice or multiple selections, one or five days, quality
programs are arranged in the time frames you have to work with.
- Application
Dates : Applications are accepted August-mid June on a first come
first serve basis,
but must be received at least two full weeks before the request date.
- Dates:
Camp
Whitewood's outdoor programs are avaliable Monday through Friday August
-mid June.
- Fees:
N.E.O. 4-H Camps Inc., Camp Whitewood, is a private, nonprofit
residential camping facility specializing in outdoor education of youth
and adults. It is not operated or funded by government or foundation
funds. Fees are negotiated on an individual basis considering length of
program requested and number of students/adults serving.
- Special
Populations: Camp Whitewood is happy to work with teachers of
special populations. Please advise us in advance.
- Adults:
Chaperones (may include the teacher) remain with the class to supervise
the students and maintain good behavior. Additional adults are
always welcome! At Camp Whitewood: Each school must provide one
adult per 14 students.
- Cancelations:
Cancelations for snow days will be rescheduled or refunded. If you
cancel for any other reason other than snow, please notify Camp
Whitewood during regular hours all will be refunded except a $25.00
deposit fee.
- Confirmation:
Within a week of receiving your application, we will send a letter of
confirmation with time, date, total attending for your visit. If you
must change the number,
please contact the camp as far ahead in advance as possible.
- Lunches:
Camp Whitewood's beautiful dining facility is host to deliciously
prepared balanced meals. Enjoy a prepared hot meal or make use of the
camp grounds for and
outside pack lunch. Groups must clean the area used for sack lunch.
There
is additional fees if the area needs cleaning.
