Features of Conference
- A keynote
address will be provided by Dr. Fred Limp, Director, Center
for Advanced Spatial Technologies (CAST) Professor of Anthropology
& Adjunct Professor of Geography University of Arkansas.
- A special
session on the second day of the conference will address
"Implications of Geospatial Technologies for Agriculture
and Natural Resource Inventory and Homeland Security Measures."
- Pre-conference
workshops on remote sensing, geographic information systems,
and ESRI products.
- Interactive
trade show and poster session.

than 24 selected presentations on topics around soil mapping,
land use planning, water management, precision agriculture,
forestry, water quality, NPDES / storm water runoff, watersheds
and riparians, Lake Erie Coastal management, fish and wildlife,
nature conservancy and wetlands, inventory and monitoring,
and natural resource management.

Conference
Theme
The conference
theme is built around geospatial technologies that have been
successfully implemented and used for agriculture and natural
resources planning and management in Ohio or with applications
to Ohio. Come and interact with others and learn about how
tools such as remote sensing, GIS, and geospatial data sets
are used for making management decisions.
