Whereas the National Institute for Farm Safety, Inc., is a group whose predominant interest is farm safety;
Whereas the field of Agricultural Safety and Health are interactive;
Whereas Agricultural Occupational Health is a broad field containing many major problems some of which are quite likely not even recognized today;
And, whereas, much of the professional expertise, research and effort in Agricultural Occupational Health is found outside the membership of the National Institute for Farm Safety, Inc.;
Be it therefore resolved...
...that the National Institute for Farm Safety, Inc., encourages groups such as the American Conference of Governmental and Industrial Hygienists, the American Public Health Association, and others with a similar professional purpose to include in their programs and publications presentations on the broad topic of Agricultural Occupational Health.
