Ag Accidents and Rescue: The agricultural industry presents many hazard to people of all ages. The 13 videos listed below discuss a wide range of farm accidents. An overview of the agricultural industry and injuries common to it are discussed in the "Introduction" video. The videos that follow contain key points that farmers need to keep in mind every time they leave the house, in order to reduce injuries on the farm.

The 22-minute training video focuses on basic rules to help ensure the safety of not only the operator but also other persons that may be in the vicinity, especially in the case of roadside mowing. Areas covered include equipment start up, operation, maintenance and shut down. The complementary 12-page guidebook highlights key messages in the video with a Q and A format, and employers can use the guidebook contents for testing employee comprehension.

John Deere -- Tractor Rollovers and ROPS

Length: 6:30

This video discusses the importance of ROPS and seatbelts. It shows examples of how fast a rollover can occur. The video completes two demonstrations of a rollover: one with and one without ROPS and seatbelts. The narrator is a John Deere representative who interviews a farmer, who survived a rollover due to the ROPS. The narrator briefly disucsses getting ROPS installed on older tractors.
