Research Support Species: Plans and coordinates research activities at turkey research and poultry research farm. Receives project instructions and protocols from faculty members and plans and coordinates all poultry farm operations. Participates in long range planning for building replacement , building remodeling, and equipment acquisition. Meets with faculty to review research plans for ongoing and new projects,and reviews and updates experimental protocols. Supervises daily activities to complete research projects. Hires and trains personnel, coordinates work schedules, and evaluates a staff of 7 farm personnel and 2 students who live in the apartment at poultry research farm. Maintains bio-security at both farms. Provides maintenance at both farms. |
