David D Clevenger

Sheep

Mr. Clevenger has a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science from The Ohio State University. He has been manager of the sheep research unit at OARDC since 1987. His skills range from the basics of sheep production to laboratory skills. As manager he coordinates and executes research projects utilizing sheep at the Wooster unit. He maintains the integrity of recorded research data and is responsible for the welfare of the research animals. He coordinates research studies with the research faculty. He assists in design, assigning experimental animals, and providing the basis for collection of daily data. Mr. Clevenger and the research unit are resources used by ATI classes and continuing adult education through extension services.
