We are very fortunate in the College
of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences to have
an outstanding base of support from our network of alumni
and friends. Whether located across the state, the country,
or around the globe, these people are extremely important
to everything we do. You make it possible for our College
to stay current and connected outside the walls of our campus
by providing mentoring, internships and employment for our
students, a living laboratory for our research and outreach
programs, and a constant source of advice for keeping our
programs relevant and responsive to society’s needs.
Our alumni and friends are also generous with their financial
support. It is yet one more way that they say, “We believe
in Ohio State - we value the contributions OSU and the College
make to our lives and we want to ‘give forward’
to future generations.” Because of you, students who
may otherwise not have benefited from a College education
are able to pursue their dreams; students are able to participate
in challenging leadership programs and to study abroad. Because
of you we can attract the world’s best talent to our
endowed chairs. Because of you we can build buildings as well
as build lives.
