Enhancing Your Company's Visibility On Campus

Successful recruiters work with Career Services staff members to develop recruiting plans that include campus outreach and student involvement. Staff members can help you identify the best methods for reaching potential candidates, including:

Participation in classes and seminars
An excellent way to meet and share information with students is by participating in one or more of the student career planning courses, career and job search workshops, conferences, and job search panels that are offered by the college.

Company information session
Many recruiters hold information sessions about their organizations six to eight weeks prior to scheduling their interview sessions. The CFAES Career Services Services Center staff are available to assist you in scheduling and promoting your business information sessions.

Involvement with student organizations
Participating in campus activities and working with student organizations is an excellent way to meet and interact with students. Many recruiters sponsor student special events or talk with student groups about their organizations and careers.
