Student Profiles

I definitely like priority scheduling for classes, which allowed me to follow my 4-year graduation track. I also liked the smaller classroom sizes that allowed professor/student communication to be more open for better discussions. This also gave the students the opportunity to ask questions directly during class and not just during office hours.

Honors in agriculture is a phenomenal program that allows a student to personalize his/her program and really become involved in a project with a faculty member or group of faculty members. The ability to have these relationships with the faculty of the department gave me the chance to personalize my education in order to meet my goals. All this means a great deal, when you are at a school that is sometimes classified as too large to care about its students.
