Community Service Projects
- Community Service is an important part of the Collegiate 4-H Club. This year we are planning on recycling pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House, participating in Swim for Diabetes, mentoring Ohio's youth, volunteering with the Operation: Military Kids program, as well as other campus wide efforts. Contact the Communtiy Service Officer for more information.
Intramurals
- Each quarter the club participates in an interamural sport. Winter quarter the club played basketball. Contact the Recreation Chair to find out information for Spring Quarter intramurals.
Conferences
- Regional
The 2007 Regional Conference was hosted by Purdue University, November 2-4. Ohio State had four delegates attend and the club won Regional Club of the Year. The 2008 Conference will be hosted by Mizzou.
- National
The 2008 National Conference was hosted by the Colorado State University, University of Wyoming, and Nevada Collegiate 4-H. It was held February 20-24 in Denver Colorado. Three delegates and three alumni were in attendance. The club won National Club of the Year for the second year in a row!
Carving New Ideas
- Carving New Ideas is a weekend leadership camp for High School students
hosted by Collegiate 4-H at OSU. The camp is held at 4-H Camp Ohio
in Licking County. The 2008 camp is set for December 12-14th. For more

Plowboy Prom
- Ohio's Largest Square Dance is hosted each year by collegiate 4-H. The 2008 Plowboy Prom was held February 16th at the brand new Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center. The theme was "Me and My Gang" and the event was a huge success. For information about next years Plowboy Prom contact the plowboy prom chair.
