Ohioans Can Get Help With Prescription Drug Costs
Paying for prescription drugs can cause financial hardship for many Ohioans, but a state program may be able to help with that. Ohio's Best Rx is a prescription drug discount program is designed to lower the cost of prescriptions for Ohio residents. The program is open to people of any age who have no prescription coverage. For those over age 60, there are no income guidelines to apply. Applying for the Ohio's Best Rx program is simple and free-it just takes a toll free call to 1-866-923-7879. For more information about food safety (in English and Spanish) call the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 1-888-674-6854. The Hotline is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm. Additional information on thawing and cooking turkeys are available on the web at www.fsis.usda.gov.
