All About Family and Consumer Sciences
The mission of Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) is to strengthen individuals,
families, and communities through education. We strive to be recognized
as a leader in enhancing the quality of life for the people of Cuyahoga
County through research-based information and program outreach.
The Family and Consumer Sciences program provides educational opportunities
in the areas of nutrition, food safety and preservation,
family life and child development, budgeting and
