  Dear Friends,

March is National Nutrition Month and the theme for 1999 is “Take a Fresh Look at Nutrition.”  The “in” places where Americans are eating is at their desks or in their cars because they need to save money, or eat more healthfully.  It takes time to plan for nutritional “desktop” and “dashboard” dining.  Let us know at the Extension Office if you need information or programs on healthy eating for busy families.

Spring is in the air!  Take long walks and watch for the emerging signs of spring.  Spend some quiet moments in your backyard or at the park enjoying the array of colors and fragrances this new season has to offer.
Have a great month!

Sincerely,
