Reading assignments: It is important that you read the assigned sections from the textbook before coming to class so that we can spend more time solving problems in order to improve our problem solving skills.

Exams: There will be two 1 hr term exams and a final exam.

Homework: There will be one homework assignment each week on Friday and the assignments will be collected following Friday. Homework assignments for each week will be posted on the course web page every Friday. Late assignments will not be accepted.

Homework is a valuable learning tool, so you should try to solve every problem on your own before seeking help. Once you've worked on each problem by yourself, you may work together in small groups to complete an assignment. This does not mean you may simply copy solutions from a classmate or from solution sets from previous years to which you might have access. Presenting someone else's work as your own is plagiarism.

Labs : Information about the labs will be posted on the web. You are expected to read the information before coming to the lab. A report will be submitted for each group following the lab. The report will include

1)      Objectives

2)      Procedure

3)      Graphs you prepared and Calculations

4)      Discussion
