INCREDIBLE EGG CONTEST QUIZ RULES

Goal:
Provide students an opportunity to express their knowledge gained through
the
Incredible Egg 4-H Project.
Rules:
1. Before quiz begins, teacher should make sure students know that
they will need to have colored
pencils, crayons, or markers available to complete the "Design Your Own
Egg" section of the quiz.
2. Student completes the quiz in time deemed necessary by teacher.
3. The back of each quiz paper submitted for the county contest must be
identified with the
student's name and complete address, grade, school, and teacher's name.
Judging:
Each classroom that has completed the Incredible Egg 4-H
Project may submit three (3)
outstanding quiz papers as selected by the classroom teacher to be entered
in the final county
judging. Quiz entries must reach the County Extension Office by May 5th.
Please note identification
needed (Rule #3).
Judging Criteria:
A. 100% Correct on Quiz 75%
B. Work Shown on Math 5%
C. Overall neatness 10%
D. Creativity in Egg Design 10%
Awards:
1. Awards will be presented to the top three students in each classroom
whose quiz papers are
selected to be in the county contest.
2. Rosettes will be awarded to the top 15 winners in the county and these
will be exhibited
at the 2006 Fairfield County Fair, which will entitle those students
to a grade ribbon and
premium money from the Fairboard.
Dates:
Quiz should be given upon completion of the project. After the winning
quiz papers from each
classroom are chosen, mail or deliver them to OSU Extension-Fairfield County,
831 College
Avenue, Suite D, Lancaster, Ohio 43130, ATTN: Hannah Kohler by May 5th.
