You're invited to Fairfield County's annual

Farm/City Day

held at the Saum Christmas Tree Farm

4742 Hamburg Road, 3 miles east of Amanda, 7 miles southeast of Lancaster

Saturday, September 25 and Sunday, September 26, 1999

Come visit the beautiful rolling landscape of southern Fairfield County and experience for yourself a 'day on the farm.' The Saum Christmas Tree Farm is a family farm operation that will serve as your host for the day.

But, when you visit, you will experience much more than just a Christmas tree farm. The entire Fairfield County agriculture community will join forces for these two days to ensure that you fully experience this very diverse farm environment.

This will be two days designed to entertain and educate young and old, alike, on the rich heritage of Fairfield County agriculture. After going from trees to pumpkin and horse drawn wagon rides to reindeer, you'll also experience some of the more traditional aspects of agriculture such corn, soybeans, beef cattle, dairy and swine.

As Farm/City Day draws nearer, return to this site often as we update it with additional photos of many of the attractions your family will enjoy over this two day event. For more details, contact OSU Extension in Fairfield County at 740.653.5419.
