  • Principle Investigator Updates  Quarterly meetings with Research Foundation personnel will help you stay on top of changes and opportunities.Here you will find answers to many of your questions about working with OSURF. 
  •  Extension's Connection to OSURF.  As you begin the proposal writing process, contact the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences' OSURF Annex to help you meet university and legal obligations, and submit the proposal to the sponsor.  They will help you complete required paperwork,  The earlier you begin working with OSURF, the more assistance is available.  Before submitting any proposal it must be reviewed and approved by our Pre-Award Officer in the OSURF Annex.

  • OSU Cares: At this site you'll find: Announcements for internal funding opportunities. Reports of seed grants that have been funded the past three years. Reading the reports may give you ideas to try or to use as a starting point for your own proposal,links to the President's Council for Outreach and Engagement and the Campus Collaborative.  Both announce annual internal funding opportunities for collaborative outreach projects. 
  • Grant Writing Basics: How to Get Funding for your Community Project This booklet is designed to help you work with community groups that would like to develop grant writing skills to find funding for their projects.  Note: This is a WORD document which you can open and/or save when prompted.  This booklet is the result of an OSU Cares Grant.

OSU Extension Business office
Start with the Business Office if you have questions about simple contracts, gifts and other funds that can be placed in a Development Account.  Talk or send an email to Cindy Tschanen while you are in the early stages of developing working agreements with other organizations and save time and effort later.

Contract Templates for projects not administered by the OSU Research Foundation are available to you as Word and Wordperfect documents. Download and use the templates as a guide when you are developing working relationships with other organizations.
