Welcome to OSU Extension, Greene County Office
WELCOME!
Our mission is to engage people to strengthen their lives and communities through research-based educational programming.
We are an "extension" of The Ohio State University, as well as other Land Grant Universities across the country. Help is available on line at greene.osu.edu or by calling/stopping by our office located on the Greene County Fairgrounds behind the grandstand. We offer programs on 4-H and youth development, horticulture, financial education, food safety, safe use of pesticides, water quality, nutrition, sun safety, agronomy, estate planning, and much more.
Our audience is you - the citizens of Greene County and anyone else interested in any of the educational programs we offer.
The OSU Extension Greene County Office is open Monday - Friday, from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Our address is 100 Fairground Rd., Xenia, OH 45385. We can be reached by calling 372-9971 or 427-2883, Ext. 5052, or visiting our website at greene.osu.edu. We are the off-campus "branch" of The Ohio State University Extension Program. Our office is funded by the Greene County Board of Commissioners, the State of Ohio, and the United States Department of Agriculture. In addition, we offer programs in cooperation with many agencies, organizations, and volunteers.
