All About Family & Consumer Sciences

Extension Family and Consumer Sciences helps to strengthen individuals, families and communities through education. Priority topics include: family life, parenting, adult development and aging, grand-parenting, money management, balancing multiple roles, nutrition, food safety and resource management. Clientele include: senior citizens, grandparents who are raising their grandchildren, families, limited resource audiences, social service agencies, youth, and the general public.

Attend this class to learn how to:

  • create a home record-keeping system
  • establish a family budget
  • reconcile a checking account statement

This class is offered as a joint effort between Ohio State University Extension, Hocking County and the Hocking County Municipal Court. Participants may register to attend by calling OSU Extension, Hocking County at (740) 385-3222. The $31.00 class fee must be paid in advance by cash or money order.
