After much time and effort, the redesigned Community Development State Office website is now online. The new site can be accessed at: http://comdev.osu.edu or http://www.comdev.ohio-state.edu. Content from our previous website was updated and reorganized into a more user friendly presentation. One goal for the new website is to be a portal to OSU Extension's Community Development programming and resources available throughout the state. The website's audience is our clientele and Extension professionals.
If you wish to have your programming or other educational activities listed or updated on the new site or have comments and / or feedback, please contact Ken Martin (martin.1540@osu.edu) , Greg Davis (davis1081@ag.ohio-state.edu), Cathy Schmeltz (schmeltz.2@osu.edu) or Don Ordaz (ordaz.1@osu.edu).

One group of local officials in eastern Ohio (the Eastern Ohio Development Alliance, or EODA), are at it again. This month, EODA kicked off an OSU-led regional Business Retention & Expansion effort, the third such cooperative effort among officials in the 16-county region since inception of OSU's BR&E program in 1986. Of course, working cooperatively can be a challenge, but it also provides the potential for new synergies and broad-based impacts. For more information on BR&E or how you might work to pull together a regional program, contact Greg Davis at davis.1081@osu.edu.
