CANINE CHAOS 4-H DOG CLUB

PRESENTS

4-H IN CLARK COUNTY, OHIO

Hi there! Welcome to the homepage of the Canine Chaos Websters. Canine Chaos is one of several dog clubs here in Clark County, Ohio, and eight of the members have decided to do a World Wide Web project. Since there is no formal 4-H project available for this endeavor, our Websters have had to take this as a self-directed projected, headed by their fearless leader, Lisa Stanley (that would be me.) We are the first 4-H club in Ohio to have an official site on the server of the Ohio State University Extension Service, which is the organizing body for 4-H in Ohio. Most of the Websters have submitted their written topics to me, and you will find links below. There are still two Websters who are still working on their submissions, and who are now forcing me to decide how mean I will have to be on their project grades. Below you will find links to several of their topics, as well as for the rules our county has developed for the dog program.

Most of the work is done for this 4-H year, but this site will continued to be added to and updated on a regular basis. I hope very much that most of the Websters will contine to work with me on this, and to make this best 4-H site on the web. Sounds like a great winter activity to me! I have really enjoyed seeing their enthusiasm for this project, and hope the things they have learned in this project will be useful to them in the future. Today's world is full of technological marvels, and these kids will be ahead of the game by having experience with things such as the world wide web.

Our interview judging is being held on July 9th and 10th. Our Clark County 4-H program requires all 4-Hers to complete an interview about their project in order to complete the project. Some of the 4-H projects, such as Dog Care and this self-directed World Wide Web project are judged competitively on the interview alone, while other projects such as the obedience and showmanship projects are judged in show competition at the County Fair. Clark County Fair runs from July 19 through July 25th, and is our big yearly event. I am sure we will be posting the results of the judging when they are available.

This site will be an ever evolving process for our club, so please make sure to bookmark our site and check back during the next few weeks and months to see how our page progresses.

Special thanks to Ohio State University Extension Service Computer Team for providing this site.
