Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Location:Springfield – Xenia, Ohio area

Company:Bob Evans Farms, Inc.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in following areas:
    • HACCP
    • SSOP's
    • SPS programs
  • GMP programs and employee compliance to GMP’s
  • Micro and Basic Lab functions
    • HACCP verification activities
    • Thermometer calibration
    • Scale checks
    • Label verification
    • Incoming goods inspection
  • Product Specifications– verification on production performance
  • Food Safety and Security audits – plant walkthroughs
  • Product Quality checks:
    • Package seals
    • Modified atmmosphere checks
    • Organeoleptic evaluations
    • Various product quality checks, etc.
  • Support QA Mgr. on Regulatory issues

    Additional requirements:

  • Applicants should have good communication skills.
  • Indiciduals may have opportunity to work in multiple facilities.
  • Must be willing to work different schedules at times, including overtime.
  • Excellent opportunity for growth.
