Susan Orth of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Jenna Behrens of Texas A&M and James Stefanak of Ohio State University have each been awarded a $3,000 scholarship to be used toward completion of a bachelor's degree in animal science. "We really enjoy being a part of the process that contributes to the success of our future leaders in the meat industry," said George Melnykovich, administrator of the MISA Foundation. "There is so much talent rising through the university systems, particularly in the fields of meat science, and I can't wait to see where the industry will go once these graduates enter the work force."
