Outstanding T.A. Award


Mary Kay Folk was presented with the Outstanding TA Award (plaque and $500) for the Food Science and Technology Department, on January 27th, during a Sausage Processing Short Course by Dr. Pascall (TA Awards Chair) and Dr. Lee (Department Chair). What is extra special about this is that Mary Kay, who is now a Food Science graduate student, was nominated last Fall Quarter for her performance as a TA in Animal Sciences 555.02 (Meat Processing Course). After the nomination is made by students in the course, the award is made based upon the evaluation of all of the students in the course. Our thanks to the students who made the nomination and the selection an easy task.
