The Ohio MSEA is a cooperative research and educational effort supported by: the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center and Ohio State University Extension at The Ohio State University; the USDA-Agricultural Research Service, the USDA-Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service, the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service, the U.S. Geological Survey, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, in cooperation with other state and federal agencies.
Approximately 100 people from nearly 30 organizations have participated in the Ohio portion of the regional MSEA project. An advisory group was formed at the start of the project to help guide and direct the research and education effort. This advisory group meets 1-2 times annually. The advisory group is made up of representatives from environmental groups, action agencies, agribusiness leaders, regulatory agencies, and local and state agencies.
