Ringworm is a fungal disease affecting the skin of dogs and cats. Many affected animals lose all of the hair over most of their bodies. In others, lesions are moist and bright red. Sometimes the feet and areas between the toes are infected with the entire foot becoming swollen. It is more common in winter and with indoor animals.
