Program Logic Model
There are many different program development and evaluation models available for extension program professionals to use when systematically outlining programs. At the present time, the Extension Program Logic Model is being taught to OSU Extension program staff and is the model upon which the extension portion of the Unified Reporting System is based. The OSU Extension Program Logic Model was adapted from a model developed by Ellen Taylor-Powell, PhD of the University of Wisconsin Cooperative Extension Service.
The Logic Model was first presented at the second annual University of Wisconsin-Extension, Cooperative Extension program evaluation conference in June 2000. Dr. Taylor-Powell's detailed PowerPoint presentation, "The Logic Model: A Program Performance Framework" is available for review by going to the University of Wisconsin Program Development and Evaluation home page and clicking on the Logic Model link. We encourage folks who are developing programs based on the Extension Program Logic Model to review this detailed presentation and model on program development and evaluation.
We are always looking for good resources to add to the PDE Web pages. Please send us any program development and evaluation resources that you think might be beneficial to other extension program development and evaluation personnel. Send your ideas to Debby Lewis. |
