   Since the pros may be reluctant to blow their own horns, I'll
contribute from the viewpoint of a smaller floral
retailer/grower/interiorscaper.

Someone else can define a listserv, or you can look it up on a web
search engine. Florinet is "free" -- people are contributing resources
and time from their own budgets.

Florinet is a place to get PROMPT, AUTHORITATIVE answers to
horticultural questions of all kinds, and to learn from the answers to
others questions. The people who moniter this list are professional
academics and growers in the best universities and growing operations in
the world. The responses have been excellent in timeliness and quality.
Would you benefit from the opportunity to pick the brains of the best
people in our industry?

Hopefully, someone else will tell you how to subscribe -- I don't
remember. Try it == you'll probably like it!
