We have several Biotherm water heating systems for germination and
propagation. In the past we have used both steel pipe (not recommended,
corrosion!) and lots of just regular PVC for plumbing purposes and the
headers. Biotherm Co. even sells, what I believe, is just PVC for their
headers. I am sure that some people will cringe at the thought of not
using the CPVC, or something else, but our boiler system has been there
for over 10 years and no trouble at all with using PVC pipe. I don't
believe you will have any trouble using CPVC in your system.
