Begonia mother plants for production of cuttings should remain permanently in a vegetative phase. They seem to be very sensitive to stress. I am looking for any literature (or personal comments) on the effect of stress (e.g. temperature shocks, vibration) on production of cuttings and the transition from vegetative to generative phase in Begonia. Thanks, Ernst Woltering E.J. Woltering@ATO.DLO.NL
