Additional Support Lily Heat II

Dear Mr. Layman:

This is to add additional support to the negative side.  I may be overly
cautious but an unvented propane space heater in a greenhouse full of
easter lilies scares the hell out of me.  This is much different from
using a new Modine or Raznor type gas fired heater unvented in a
greenhouse.  I have seen several situations where the use of unvented
propane space heaters has resulted in complete leaf yellowing and leaf
drop on a variety of greenhouse crops due either to the buildup of
propylene fumes or to the buildup of carbon monoxide which causes the
plants themselves to produce ethylene.

With visible bud this week you are not far off schedule and Dr. Barrett
adequately covers the height control issue.
