We are growing purslane (Yubi) in 10" baskets. We have grown it for
years and are having trouble this season. The leaves seem to have
basically small yellow spots on them (chlorotic), and appear to be
beneath the outer layer of the leaf (i.e. below the waxy epidermic
layer, almost like looking through a film to see them). They had a
substantial thrip problem which I have taken care of quite some time
ago. We are CLF at 150ppm. The only problem I can find is the lack of
sunlight. We haven't had any trouble in the past. The only difference
this year is that we cut out slow release fertilizer and are now on a
CLF program. Any suggestions?????
Thank you,
Marty Reichenberger
