Ivy Geraniums

We grow several varieties of Ivy leaved Geraniums in 10" baskets. For
the last four years we have been using Butterfly as our purple. During
the hot months of summer, the tips become very yellow; as if all the
chlorophyll has disappeared. Other varieties such as Nicole, White
Nicole, Nanette, & Mexicana don't do this what so ever. Is this a
characteristic of the Butterfly variety? What is causing it? We are
feeding constant 150ppm 20-10-20 and 20-0-20 in a Peat-Lite media. We
have grown them under 47% shade and under full sun and seen no
difference what so ever.

Your assistance is appreciated!!!
