Hi, all,
Received in today's mail a catalog from The Dickson Company of Addison,
IL showing a number of detection and recording instruments, seemingly
aimed at horticultural uses.
On page 7 is the D156 Waterproof pH Tester 1, appearing to be a small,
hand-held, battery-powered unit for $89 +$20 for calibration kit. It is
marked "NEW" in a bold, red splash.
Has anyone had experience with this unit? We want to use it primarily
for interiorscape plantings; taking a number of readings at about 6
month intervals in the "field" (offices, atria, etc.). Am interested in
your experiences and opinions on suitability of this instrument --
especially ease and speed of use.
No info on how to use it in the catalog; have sent for further info, but
don't know what will be sent.
If anyone is interested, I'll gladly fax the catalog page.
Thanks, Carl Ford
